About The Designer...
My love of Victorian Lampshade making came from a love of anything and everything glamorous, old fashioned and vintage!

All my lampshades are hand sown, the traditional way; to give them an extra air of authenticity as well as durability. And with the ability to create original frames as well as shades (thanks to my husband), there is no stopping this creative flow!
​
The combination of my love of hand sewing and keen bead making skills, became the perfect duo; with the idea to not only create original lampshades & frames; but to add original beadwork to finish them off - as featured on many of my designs.

With the use of second hand fabrics combined with new, and the up cycling of many old lamp frames R&R Lampshades are also sustainable, in a world where recycling is of the upmost importance.
My ultimate vision was to create unique, one-off designs. A bit of something old, something new. Vintage with a modern twist (which pretty much sums me right up!). Each piece having its very own personality and splendour to suit its unique and glamorous owner. 🖤

In a nut shell...
THE FABRICS: Made from high quality fabrics; including luxurious vintage fabrics, recycled vintage clothing, silks, lace and more…"I have a grand old time rooting through charity shops & material shops for some goodies!"
THE BEADS: Handcrafted original beadwork featuring Swarovski, Preciosa and other high quality crystals and precious stones, for that added touch of decadence. Only the best will do!
THE FRAMES: Lamp frames are sourced from all over the world. Some are recycled and some are original ‘Ritzy Rogue’ frames, which cannot be found anywhere else on the planet! And that's a promise!
THE LIGHT: With the need to create something authentic in a throw away culture, I have endeavoured to make each lamp as unique and show stopping as possible "mixing the old with the new"; with the use of second hand materials combined with brand new fabrics.
